Macey McHenry—Glamorous society girl or spy-in-training?

W.W. Hale V—Heir to an American dynasty or master thief?

There are two sides to every coin. Whether these two can work together is a tossup.

Born into privilege, Macey and Hale are experts at mingling with the upper class. But even if they’ve never raised an eyebrow at the glitz, neither teenager has ever felt at home with the glamour.

When Macey and Hale meet at a society gala, the party takes a dangerous turn. Suddenly they’re at the center of a hostage situation, and it’s up to them to stop the thugs from becoming hostile. Will Macey’s spy skills and Hale’s con-man ways be enough to outsmart a ruthless gang? Or will they have to seek out the ultimate inside girl to help?

The worlds of Heist Society and the Gallagher Girls collide in Ally Carter’s fast-paced, high-stakes and tantalizing new story. Get a behind the scenes glimpse as Ally delivers an irresistible thriller that is full of her signature style and savvy twists.
As a fan of Ally Carter Spy series - 'Gallagher Girls' and Thieves series - 'Heist Society', this supplementary story was a fun read. If you have read Ally Carter stories then you know how she keeps humor, critical situations, romance and action all well balanced at the same time.
"You know, if I had feelings, that might have hurt them.”
Hale, Kat and Meacy are all together in this story and am sure in the upcoming books of both the series will have more connections between them... NoW I can't wait for them to come out.. GHH!!!
Meacy, The daughter of a senator and a cosmetic heiress, that's how Hale saw her at first, and Meacy is intrigued by his indifference. But the actual scene is all different. How the both sides collides.... Oh I am not going to tell you that, you have to read the book for that :)

Finally Kat and Hale are Together, but wait... they both are not sure if they are together of not, Kat seems quite confused (hehe) and it was hilarious when she babbled doubtfully if they were friends with benefits!!! (facepalm... hehe)
“What are they after?” Kat asked.
“Hard to say,” Hale said; again, he eyed the room.
“Who is that?” Macey asked.
“The reason I wasn’t flirting with you,” Hale told her.”
While on the other hand Hale is as hot and charming as ever. It's fun seeing him occasionally flirting with Meacy!!! But he seems quite confidence about her relationship with Kat. The upcoming book, 'Perfect Scoundrels' of 'Heist Society' is going to be so much existing seeing that Hale and Kat are Together now. There love tension was always there in the air, not it looks like it's on their minds as well!!!

4 Coffee cups!!!

Perfect Scoundrels is coming out on 5th Feb' 2013 and I am going to grab a copy ASAP...
Till then I am going to savor Double crossed 2.5.
